We are almost done with the unpacking!  It is quite stressful to see your memories of the last 13 years loaded on a truck.  2 kids and many LA experiences later, we are back where we left of… in Silicon Valley.

The whiff of Eucalyptus in the air, the unexpected chill at night, the beautiful rolling hills all remind me of why I have always missed this place. Overhearing tech ideas being exchanged over a local grind makes me feel at home again.

So many things haven’t changed.  Yet it seems quite a bit busier, the traffic here seems to try to make us not feel homesick for LA. There are more coffee shops, new cool restaurants, and crossfit joints and juice stores have popped up here too.   I am looking forward to getting to know the Valley all over again, through the lens of a working mom.
